Hi All,

Although Tark is doing a fine job with moderating, I would like to have at least 1-2 other people to help out with the forums. Its really hard for me to keep track of things on here lately what with work being so busy.

Anyone who is interested, please PM me with why you think you are the best man/woman for the job and we'll have a vote at the end of the month.

Any questions, please ask.

A few weeks ago i was made a mod on a reptile forum i use, about 4300 members.

Its not as fun as people think :!:

I had been a moderator on www.overclockers.co.uk up until early this year and had been for nearly 4 years, with a userbase of 14000 or so members and normally an active list of around 5-600 it got extremely busy and very demanding, it often felt like a thankless task ;)

2 things you need to know about being a moderator before anyone volunteers, and that is you need to be impartial and consistant ;)

the old saying "you can please some of them all of the time but only all of them some of the time" springs to mind here :D

Have to say i nominate spider and bikerdude, to....no offence but more so bikerdude, cause he knows stuff and is a good boy, wont try and sell everyone stuff (aka drugs)lol. and they have both been here pretty much the longest, biker dude posts every single day with out fail, and always has somthing good to say! but he IS a cripple and you would have that on your hands!id be a crap mod me...hummm also i recomend drew (eversoslightlyfasterthanU) because he has no actual clue about how computers work cant spell and doesnt remember anyone on the forum!that would be a right laff! LATESHIFT for president!

As for Paul, after he has found his feet in here we'll see what he brings to the group and vote in a couple of weeks to make sure you are all happy with his progress and his contribution.

By the way, im suprised Ricky or Hells names have not been put forward as mods? Maybe its not something they would be interested in but Ricky especially is a good asset to the site.
