Looking For The Full YPVS And a Micron Exhaust?

Hi Im new here but i certainly do know how to use forums!
Im looking for the Full YPVS and a Micron Racing Exhaust mainly i want these parts for speed increase i have a 1990 G Plate TZR and it tops out @ 70mph in 4th gear i get 80mph if im down a hill, i have brought all new carb bits like main jet needle etc cleaned the carb but i only get 70mph?? n e 1 know y? and where i can get my hands on a Micron Racing Exhaust And a YPVS?? as cheap as possibile as i am a student, or does anyone have them? and i would be greatful if you could help me with my problem??

Hi Spider - welcome to the forum.

Occasionally you get the odd user on here selling ypvs servo kits... unless MELLERS still has his, i think you're gonna be out of luck.

Your best bet for the micron and the ypvs servo kit is gonna be ebay - there's always TZR bits on there.

No luck when I tried :( but keep an eye out
I tend to get about 10 emails a week from other TZR owners, so i'll keep my ear to the ground and give you a shout if i come across anything.

Ok Thanks M8, Im from Clacton Essex you may have seen a few posts by Rednecknb thats actually my dad and im the annoying little 17 yr old who wants his bike @ best performace! i dont know a hell of a lot about bikes but im learning pretty fast whilst my bike goes wrong and we are fixing it! and by just looking over this forum! so im getting there! i do like the idea of the advertising though! my sites could do with some hits
erm as for hosting what sort of plans do you offer just my current host is a pain in the ass and my site is always going down because of it!

do you think the problem of my bike only hitting 70mph is it because it maybe restricted or somthing??? its 1990 so i dont know ! because i hear about TZRs doing 110mph etc i want to at least hit 100?? any ideas? :wink:

The bike is probably restricted. If i remember correcty (IF lol) they restricted the English TZR in the exhaust and at the powervalve.

FingerZ! had an english TZR but he had a non standard exhaust, but his powervalve was closed so he took it out and spun it round so it was fully open.

With it fully open, you will loose a little accelleration, but you'll have more top end.

In case you didnt know, the YPVS servo does all that for you.

As for hosting, you can pretty much have whatever you need if you want to get involved with the essexbikers site. As i said in my email, I dont really get much time to play around with the site anymore, and FingerZ! only really has time to keep his GSXR stuff up to date.

I have replaced the exhaust with a full sytem replacement a Giannelli and still no diffrence the only difference is it now sounds like a 50cc moped but anyway i think the powervaulve is open ill ask my dad!


and as for hosting and getting involved im very interested so if you set me a task or whatever ill get straight on it!
