View Full Version : London Traffic- IQs dropped suddenly?

This is my first year of commuting on my bike into the big smoke and therefore this is my first time seeing what happens to traffic when the clocks go back...

WHAT'S GOING ON??? Commercial Rd is an absolute nightmare in the evenings now... Have people's IQs dropped just because its dark when they leave work now? It's SO bad they have to have cops directing traffic AS WELL as the traffic lights...

Has something else happened to increase the congestion that I just don't know about?

Did you get stuck in the Limehouse link problems ? what a nightmare !

my route home takes me down Commercial Rd and onto A13 and every day I find i meet a new level of stupidity................

It's only closed East bound, so getting to work is fine it's just getting home again :(

I go a11 for the firast part out of London now. quicker and avoids tunnel. joins a12 further up.

Yes IQs have dropped. I use the roads now... :?

Nearly got knocked off this morning, let just say that the wing mirror story that lateshift told yesterday got repeated, only it was a car so I had to use my hand! :twisted:

Still got the jitters now, bloody close thing it was!

i got ****ed off riding into london on a sunday.

id rather get a job elsewhere to be honest.

London is a bar steward to ride around.. its a game of death! people are quite shocking the way they drive. I honestly think that 60% of these guys don't have licenses. I live just the other side of the Rotherhithe tunnel and know commerical rd well. Its by NO means the worst out there!

I've always commuted to work through london so i've now adopted a courier style riding.
