Drugs probably.. tho nobody knows yet for sure.
The location is imfamous for drug dealers and rival drug gangs.
But around here you can get shot for standing on someones foot.

When will these kids realise that guns are not the answer, it's much more entertaining to watch two pratts kill each other with blunt instruments.

Also on the news is two wpc's have been shot on morley street, bradford.
Just announced one has died.
Thats sad, as much as i dont like the police, to go and do a days work and not come home is just plain wrong.
Gangbangers getting killed etc i could'nt give a damn about tbh, it takes two off the streets, one dead and one in jail.

Drove through Bradford last year, stopped at a morrisons for a bite to eat. Left sharpish after going to the bog and seeing "al q'ueda rules" scribbled on the wall.

There are plenty of perfectly legal immigrants as well. I would not have wanted to be there after the London bombings. You could believe you are in another country.

Update....
The mini riot that happened after the incident happened because (word on the street not official!) 2 PC's stopped one of the dealers walking away. He tried to run off so (rightly) one of the coppers grabbed him and slammed him against a wall. The guy hit his head and fell unconscious. Said copper still cuffed him and all the minions didn't like that he was knocked out and still getting cuffed. And they all started getting involved.
Also it may have been an ATTEMPTED shooting rather then 2 dead. So possibly the bodies on the floor that i could see was the body of the guy knocked out...
Very sad about the coppers in bradford... its time to move country me thinks.

i only got scared living in moss side when the police started carrying guns when they walked down my road
i'm not going to start on this because my part-time job is being a youth worker in a pretty shocking area of Colchester (yes it does have some) and some of the lives that some of my kids have to lead makes me fill up.
i'm not making excuses for anyone though, as it's often the ones that have been through the most sh*t that really sort themselves out and turn their back on what they've come from
but it annoys/upsets me that some people have nothing else going on in their lives than guns and drugs and crap like that
i will get down off my soapbox now

I'm a founding member of a similar unit in Waltham Forest. I know exactly what you're saying. It can really crush you when you talk to some of these kids. I can relate too.
