The Steam Room

Ok - i'm probably gonna get a load of grief for this, but the Steam Room is no more. I've had quite a bit of feedback from other users about it and I have to agree it makes the site look very naff.

I know what you are gonna say.. if you dont like it, dont request access, but everyone will request access - its only natural to be able to want to see every forum, and then instead of people seeing a forum where people can sound off about things, its just full of people mugging eachother off.

I dont understand the problem with the steamroom, it was a superb idea!!!

And no 'visitors' can see it anyway and seeing as you have to 'accept' them whether they can/cannot see the part of the forum as well....

So what exactly is the problem?

I thought it made the site look better personally as theres one part where there is no filtering etc....

And its not exactly mugging each other off, its more Stress Relief.

If newbs dont like it, dont join it! We shudent have to change to suit every new member that comes onto this forum....

I agree everyone is entitled to an opinion but i would like to know who objects to it, as when the idea was proposed there were no objections....

Might have been ok to swear but at the end of the day there were only 3 people on their slaggin each other off ! And there were quite a few comments on there that werent funny just offensive to obviously quite a few people !
What ever its there for it still has to have limits and they were obviously crossed more than once.

Im only kidding anyway, i can do without the steam room... i can quite easily set a temp one up elsewhere should it be necessary.
