Heyup,
I havent been on the site for a while - like the new look though!
I cant see any of the posts on Gatheringz and Track Days, on the front page it just says Private...
Please let me back in!

PS, i still cant see anything in Gatheringz and track days and i cant find where it says to sign up...
Now I'm usually pretty damn good at the technical stuff being a server and networks freak but this is gonna drive me crazy!!!!!:shooter

Dont be a tool, it's not hard. As explained a million times, you go into UserCP and request access to the Gatheringz! group. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
I can change it to be readable by all users if thats what everyone wants, but only Jamie replied when I posted it so it's stayed.

Seems a bit immature if you ask me, this question has been answered MANY times... you have to request permission to view gatherings because we are safer than other websites and dont want 'anonymous people' to view where we are meeting, when, what we are doing... etc etc...
But if you dont like it, then sure go back to your 'fazer' site.
The admin is a very busy man, but it will be done eventually.
If you are DESPERATE to get into gatherings, shove a post on romford market asking for someone to pm you on the next meet saying you havent been granted gatherings access yet.
You'll find that everyone on this site is friendly and more than happy to help.
So in answer to your questions...
Does any other site do this?? No! But we are not a 'any other site' we are Essex Bikers and proud.
Is it a secret? Yes, we have advertising spammers on here all the time, plus viewed by the much hated chavs, so we protect ourselves by not allowing track days and gatherings to be viewed.
Heres a couple of questions for you:-
Have you posted on the 'hello!' Section? No.
Have you actually contributed anything valuable to this site? No
I've checked your posts, and they all bitch about the site, if you have a problem, ask and we will try to solve it.
There is only ONE admin on this site, and i believe 1/2 moderators, the admin is currently on holiday but im sure once hes back he will sort it for you, just do as i suggest and ask for info about meetings.
Keep moaning and you will become disliked by everyone,
take a deep breath, calm down, and ask nicely.
And we'll be happy to help. :D
I'd read my posts a little more carefully little boy if I were you.. You would see half of your comments are inaccurate. My vent was not a personal attack on anyone. Just a vent as I said. Unlike yours on me. Grow up.

I don't think there was any need for that. I also don't think you have read any of my posts! Yes, I have posted in hello, but unlike you, I have been on here for some years, and it's probably ages ago! I was annoyed at the lack of response and lack of ability to contact anyone who could help me. It was not a personal attack on anyone, unlike yours on me! I have not done anything for the site is that right? Maybe you would like to ask the rest of the boys, who led the way to the London unity ride, and organised the meet up on the way as no one knew where they were going? I think they appreciated it.
I did'nt realise we all had to 'give a little bit of ourselves' to be included on a site anyway!
Maybe in future when admin is away, which I was not aware of, they should have their mails forwarded to someon who can deal with things while they are away.
All I remember of your posts was how you fell off your bike and everyone commenting on how inexperienced you were, and what silly things you did on the road. Their words not mine. I don't even know, but I'm sure I could find the post for you.

2) Read the forum - you have not followed the instructions and requested access. There were 2 pending today which were a day or so old and they have both been accepted. You were not one of them.

I think admin and you still have a fair bit to learn about dealing with problems on the site.
And I think you still have a fair bit to learn about how to comunicate with others. Believe it or not, I am not here to be at your beck and call and I get nothing out of this site other than to meet/chat to other bikers in Essex just like everyone else. To be honest, I think you've got a damm cheek getting all arsey with me when all i do is spend time looking after this site and shelling out to keep it running (with the help of other users of course).
