It wasn't staged. It's former BBC Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner being badly burned when the stunt went wrong. Turner sued the BBC and the producer responsible for moving her at the last moment closer to the pyrotechnic. It's now used in internal BBC training videos. I believe the stuntman was no other than Eddie Kidd and its about 15-16 yrs ago.

Anthea is making a comeback on TV as the perfect houswife telling others how to keep their homes in order.

She is/was married to Grant Bovey.
