went to work on the cb today. it just doesn't feel the same any more, i don't think he likes sitting in the garage and seeing the new boy going off for a ride instead.

i don't wanna sell him though! arghhhhh! i know you'll all think i'm soft in the head but i have a big emotional attachment to that cb! sniff! wail! sob!

i am going to give him a special polish this weekend and get all his crusty bits off, do you think this will make up for ignoring him?

(another totally pointless thread)

Yea a wash and polish will make him feel better, when i ignore mine for a while she runs like crap, give her a wash, polish, check oil, redex and a hotshot and she's ok again.

I know what you mean about not getting rid of it, i'v had mine 5 years in august and if i do my test i'l have to get rid of her :o

he sure is.....wind him up and watch him go!

back to cb500, the CB clearly stands for Confidence Builder, I rode him yesterday, was chucking him into the corners (mostly coz his tyres are in better nick than the cbr's), loving my ride home, and then i took the cbr in to work today and got through my favourite corner at 70! fastest ever! had a blinding ride in this morning, only hampered by the fact that the pay at the pump thing wasn't working at tesco's so i had to queue grrrrr

What she isn't telling us is that her favourite corner is a hairpin and she's actually f**kin crazy :D

no it's not a hairpin, it's a sweeper i should probably be able to do at 170. in my sleep. with dodgy tyres.

they're the best corners, the behind the screen, knees up, elbows in corners.... and erm.... these rabits you speak of... ha

believe me, he curls up smaller than that. to him a 3 person sofa means 3 people plus greyhound

sorry. my dog is great. he is a blatant baby substitute but i don't care because he is cheap to keep and sleeps all the time.
