Taking your test.

I did my CBT on my 16th Birthday and it runs out on my 18th (1st of August). I want to take my bike test but haven't got the money to do so before i am 18. Do i have to re-do my CBT before i can do my test? I hope not cos its just wasting an extra £70!! :cry:

yep u`ll have to re take the CBT but if u use ur own bike(assuming ur legal on a bike) it shouldnt cost much only about 45/50 quid! well depending on where and who u take the cbt with!! hth and GoodLuck

My local spot are doing a deal for me where they give me a CBt and a test training course in one.

How old are you again? cos if i remember right, you cant do your direct access.. that right? or can you do it and just be restricted to 33 bhp?

I will be 18 next friday. I dont think you can do your DA until your 19??

Sorry to be annoying, but i'm pretty certain you can't do your DA till your 21!!!! i'm kinda in the same position as you, but i'm not 18 till february and i've started my bike lessons, so hopefully i won't have to redo my CBT!!! (fingers crossed)!!!

yup!!! pretty bad, but hey! i'm so surprised you managed to keep your license on a provisional for so long, riding a TZR and not getting nicked for speeding!!!??? :D That's one of the reasons im doing my test too! :lol:

Well i have only had the TZR a month and did get busted for speeding even when it was restricted. Got away with it though cos the copper who was talking to me had to dash off to a robbery or something. So i got away with it!! :lol:

well i took my CBT wen i was 16 and now 17 im taking my lessons and soon taking my test ive just got to get passed my theory which is a bitch bloody hazrd preception ********! and yeah to do direct access you need to be 21yrs old or held your license (33brh restricted) for 2 years so if you did what im doing you could have done your direct access when you are 19!! and i hear that the direct access is the exact same test as the one for the 33bhp restriction test but on a bigger bike! so hey go rent out a goldwing take it on that pass then you will be ready for anything he he!

When i done my direct access there were ppl there doing the 33bhp only... although they were in a different group.

HAHA my Mrs passed her test when she had just turned 18 and she'll be able to ride anything she likes in 6 months :D

hey guys took my theory test yesterday!! passed YAY!! then i was rushed to hospital with suspected menengitus!!! and right now i feel like i have just crashed of off an R1 at 150mph thats how much pain im in right now i have such a stiff neck i have to keep my head in one position and f the slightest twitch hurts like hell!!! i cant walk and my back is very bad they gave me an injection and now my arm is all num i was in casualty for 4 hours!!! they think everything is just and allergy because i have a rash that wont go away and the pain is a virus but i dont think it is eigher as i do not have allergys and ive had viruses before and nothing feels as pain full as this they have given me antibiotics but there ****ing huge capsules which are very hard to swallow!!! so right now im feelng like **** but hey i passed my theory test yay!
