Hi guys i live in Saarfend and wondered if anyone knew somewhere i can get a replacement battery for my GSXR600 K1. I refuse to go to Redlines after he tried to charge me £100 for tightening up some bolts that didn't need tightening

You could try Julian Sopers on London road towards the Hadleigh end of town, he tends to be fairly good on the prices, failing that give John Vines a bell (be prepared to put your wallet on a rope though ;) ).

Other than that have a look on ebay for a cheaper alternative, people whinge about the cheaper brands being a bad option, but its a battery, the tecnhology doesnt change, its just the price.

just over the water off Junction 3 might be worth a ring

first link is the website with the contact details etc, i have seen this guy advertising some of his bikes on biketrader quite a lot too ;)

second link should take you to the battery page for the K's :)

I have always found that the prices on that website are well above nearly all others though ;)

I was looking at a 4 degree ignition advancer for my 9R from there, until i realised they are charging £30 more than anywhere else, i wouldnt mind but its a small piece of steel with some notches in it that could be copied from any chunk of metal :D
