View Full Version : Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Failed my car test. :-(
Nooooooooo!!!!
Can't believe it. I was REALLY confident, and I failed on 3 things that are in no way dangerious.
They were:
1) Didn't change down quick enough so car struggled up hill a bit (but I got there)
2) Clipped a kerb (hardly gonna cause a pile-up)
3) Some flash idiot in a Merc overtook me (while i was doing 30 in a 30) and I didn't ease off enough to let him by, I just carried on. It wasn't like he needed me to ease off!!
So annoyed though. Grrr!!!
I now have to wait to March 22nd to take it again.
I'm most angry!!
How long did it take you to pass your cage test?
Well, at least I've got the Bandit coming on Thursday.

Dude, thats sucks!!
Ive yet to learn to drive a car...never really interested me (that and the last time i tried to drive it ended in disaster) but im considering bitting the bullet this summer.....i gotta learn some patience though first i think coz i know i'll end up in a fit of road rage on my test or something equaly stoopid!

i passed my bike test first time but failed my car test, i was so nervous and made a really dopey mistake quite early on which put me off everything else.
don't worry. keep at it though, the sooner it's out of the way the better. and as you say you have your bandit coming soon so it's not the end of the world.

I failed my first bike test in 84 for not using my mirrors and hesitation(thought I did a blinding test as it happens). I removed my mirrors for the second test a few months later (so they couldn't say I wasn't using them)and got lost, went the wrong way down a one way, broke the speed limit and forgot to bring my licence with me. Passed that one, no justice eh.
My mate plonked a sidecar onto a CX500, did his test, passed first time, then removed the sidecar, no U-turns to worry about that way. Spose they've closed the loophole now.
I didn't start driving lessons till I was 25, the day after the great hurricane. Trees in the road, floods, no traffic lights working and me 'mirror signal and manoeuvering' through all that. Car test is a doddle when you've been riding a few years as you're more confident with what to do on the road. Don't worry mate, you'll pass it next time easily.

I thought my 3rd test was the worst of them and the woman I had failed me a few weeks b4 and remembered me so thought I was doomed but I actually did it! You will do it mate! :D x
