Anyone know any? I dont mean...LYING...just..bending the truth such as
Kept in a locked garage..when its actually chained up in my garden...

Does it make a difference if you say your using a security device like a disc lock rather than a chain and padlock?

Been offered a working SA50 for 150 quid...

see: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4608302656&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

but cheapest insurance found (using biketraders insurance center) is

Devitt Insurance Services Ltd
0845 601 9039http://www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk/cr/insure/images/brokers/Devitt.gif£302.49Buy over the phone (javascript:buyNow(2,93071);)204-646

Not sure if its high because its an old bike or how they work it out...

just wondering how to get it... cheaper??
Was thinking of investing in a Disc lock (obviously after purchasing the bike) although i did see one at the ally pally.. for 7 quid, which i thought was a fair price seeing as carol nash was offering half price of a tenner...

now however, will possibly be purchasing one off www.fleabay.co.uk (http://www.fleabay.co.uk)

just wondering what one is best/insurance cheapest...:grin2

Security devices, as many as possible, and locked in abricked garage bring it down, not a great deal though

Oxford Disc lock..

100 armed militants surrounding it...

heatseeking missiles trained to launch on touch..

50 snipers trained on it..

£1500 i reckon ha - insurance is always going to be a bastard, consider yourself lucky, £300 is nothing compared to my £1000 from last year

you should only list 2 security devices ideally, anymore than that and they start to wonder just why it needs so much security ;)

look at the mileage you are likely to be doing to start with.

look at the useage

look at the occupation (on some policies being a soldier takes mine a lot higher, than when i tell them i am a recruiting consultant or a telecomms engineer ;) :D ).

but most of all its down to postcode unfortunately :(
