so the gov's new think advert for motoring, getting drivers to look harder for bikes, dunno about you but i hate watching it but its a great thing and about time that they had one for us!!

I think it's fantastic, does the job - can't hurt can it, im sure there will be 100s of car drivers who hate it because its shocking, but it'll make them think

I think it'd be so much more effective if the car driver got hurt aswell, would show that they're not invincible

Makes me jump everytime i see it,I'd like to see how they film it...

I think not only should the car driver get hurt,there should be another car behind the bike.As the bike crashes it forces the car behind to lock up and loose control,who then veers into the other lane causng an on comming car to take evasife action by mounting the kerp and taking out a bus stop and several pedestrions in the process untill finanly hitting a lamp post, what then falls through a Bowling ball shop window causing all the balls to roll out into the road,into the path of an artic lorry,what then has to brake causing it to jack knife,as the ar*e end comes round it takes out a Pay and display machine sending all the money inside flying.As people scramble for the cash an inocent cyclist is unable to stop in time and careers into the frantic pedestrians.One pedestrian(with a cigarette) is flung back with such force he smaches through some road works barriers and falls down a hole where they are digging a gas main.Then the hole street blows up.
All because the efiin car driver didn't look....

Then through the smoke a cough is heard and the biker apears uninjured and sais"that was lucky":grin2 :grin2 :grin2

Downloaded a copy the other day (there was a link doing the rounds a few days back); looking at it closely it looks like the 'crash' didn't happen - the bike was added in afterwards.
Bloody effective though - first comment from everyone who's mentioned it to me is how much it made them jump.

Gotta say............it actually made me feel sick !!!!! Without sounding a wus.....I actually sat shakin for a couple of mins afterwards !!!

lol fink ya selves lucky gave me a flash back of 2004 on a yam tzr250 in colchester outside the barracks when a chinese delivery driver pulled out on me and my ex and we went right into the side of him there was no skid marks didnt get a chance to break (and i was doing bout 60 hehe naughty me) but he pulled out on me after he saw me! even said he saw me!

They should do one saying about giving bikes more time aswell, because my crash wasn't because he didn't see me, it's because he misjudged how long it was going to take me to get to him, I wasn't going more then 40mph but he obviously didn't expect to get to him that fast
