It is possible to adjust the oil pump if necessary by adjusting the throttle cable. The 2 adjuster marks shown in this image below should align together when the throttle is untouched.

Never touch the bolt on the top of the pump, or the top alignment bolt.
The pump shown in the above image is off my old TZRR, and the throttle was in its default position. As you can see, the bottom alignment is to the right which means more 2 stroke oil will go into the carb than necessary. This is not a bad thing, but if you leave the engine idling for too long, the plug will foul so make sure you pip the throttle gently if you leave the bike to warm up before riding.
At the time I was running in a new engine, so i didnt bother re adjusting the pump.
If enough 2 stroke oil is getting to the carb, you will see blue smoke, not white.
