Afternoon all,
You've probably noticed 2 new affilliates have been added to the site over the past couple of days, LOVEFiLM (top right corner) and Essex Karting Raceways (down the bottom).

If you haven't heard of it already, LOVEFiLM is an online DVD & Game rental service, much like Blockbusters, but on the Internet. Using their website, you add films to your queue and they send them to you in the post the following day. You can keep them for as long as you want (no late fees), and when you are done you just put it back in the pre-paid envelope and pop it in the post (for free). Once they receive it back, they'll send out the next film in your queue. You can have 1,2,3 or 4 discs out at the same time depending on what level of membership you decide to take out.
I've been using them for just over a year now and find it a really good service. Any film you could possibly want, old or new, they have.
Anyway, they have agreed to offer you lot a 2 week, no obligation, FREE trial of their service and for every trial signed up for BY CLICKING ON THE BANNER IN THE TOP RIGHT OF THE SCREEN they will give the site £7.
During the signup process with them for the 2 week free trial, they do ask for your card details so you will have to have a credit/debit card to do this. It's just so they can confirm your age and have some come-back should you not send the discs back to them ;). They will not charge you unless you decide to carry on past the two weeks. They will automatically sign you up as a member after the two weeks should you not cancel it - which can be done at any time throughout the 2 week trial.
If you decide to carry on receiving discs after the 2 week trial, they will give us another £7! There is also no minimum term contract with them - for example if you take out the 2 week trial and then carry on using them for another month and then you decide you no longer want to be a member, you just go onto their site, cancel your account and thats the end of it.
So basically you have nothing to pay out, you get a 2 week free trial which you can cancel afterwards and not pay a penny and the site gets £7. You continue after the trial and we get another £7.

Secondly we have Essex Karting Raceways, which are the people who run the Lakeside and Brentwood karting circuits. Depending on how many people do the LOVEFiLM thing above, I was then going to put that money together to have a GP at Brentwood or Lakeside at a subsidised rate. Not only would they do us a good deal, but we'd have the money from LOVEFiLM to bring it down even more.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts on it all ;)
