Temp Guage

My temp gauge doesn't work what so ever. What should i check and where do i get a new sensor? Is it the two wires that come out from the top of the cylinder head next to the sprk plug??

2 wires? should only be one. There's a brass connector that sticks out the top of the cylinder head, and a little wire with a connector on the end of it which slides over the top of it.

As far as i can remember tho, there is only one.

I couldn't remember i was just guessing.

What should i do then??

1st thing will be to clean the connector.

yeah try cleaning it i ahd problems with my electricals etc on my TZR then i cleaned all the plug heads etc and then everything worked perfectly!!!! dodgy connection probably

Cleaned it all up and its still not working. Next step is to strip the thermocouple thing out! Then i will have to buy a new one if it dont work!
