I dont doubt that is a good deal to be honest, if it werent for the fact that we already have 3 bikes, i could have quite gone for one of them instead of my ZX9R for commuting on :D

But the fact is that most of the people around here have either recently got new bikes or recently passed tests and therefore wouldnt be able to move straight up to a big 1000 twin ;)


The sad fact is that its is indeed a bargain from the looks of it :)

Mine's a ZX9R me old mate, and whilst i may be interested in the bike i will probably be looking to get £3000 for mine to as either cash or as a part ex on maybe an RSVR at the moment, just got to decide if i get rid of both bikes for one new RSVR instead :D

Give "The Guvnor" a shout, his bike has done less miles than yours and is in good nick with some nice touches that he has recently added and goes like stink too ;)

I want somethos like a bandit 600 like a newish one or some other inline 4 what is cheaper on petrol rather than the sv thats all mate ,got anything ?

I've only got my 636 at the mo, I've got to admit I was very tempted, your bikes mint and I love sv's,The noise is sh*t hot, But I do quite alot of miles you see. I've done 10k in 5 or 6 months, and I sometimes struggle to run my 636 so I think a 1000cc would be pushing it a bit for me, and I'd have to buy a new set of matching leathers and matching lid. It is VERY tempting though, :grin2 :grin2

Try posting it on www.bikechatforums.com too. Thousands of members on there and people are always looking for new bikes. Its where i picked up my old ER5 from.

I would have gone for the zxr that the guvnor had but it's more expensive on insurance than my sv it's 90 pounds more for the year ,gutted about that ,i miss the bandit as well i used to love her .
