Hey guys
me again,
So the story so far;
Got a TZR 125 1989, just something cheap to run around on.
Couldn't find the horn, so i had to order one.
Ordered it and attached the wires, and joy, it worked.
I've had a good look, but i can't find where it mounts on to?
Also, the indicators were working fine,
now when i flick the left one on, the left front indicator doesn't come on at all, the left rear indicator comes on, constantly, no flashing/blinking.
WTF? They were working fine.
Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
Cheers
David

Sounds like a dodgy indicator connection somewhere, or just a blown bulb...

My money goes on a bad earth or connection, if a bulb blows then the other bulb should in theory flash rapidly, this is because of the extra voltage that is being fed into the 1 bulb instead of 2 ;)
It may be that the bulb has blown but 99% of the time it will definitely flash at twice the speed if one of them has blown, rather than stay continously on.
Check the connections and also the relay, if the relay has blown then it could also make the bulb stay on because its not getting an intermittent current to make it flash ;)

Cheers for the help,
I'll check it out.
I still don't know where to mount the horn though.
If anyone has a TZR 125, can they take a pic of where it mounts onto please?
Cheers
David
P.S I have the HAYNES manual YAMAHA TZR125 87to93 DT125 88to02 and another one too on html and pdf if anyone needs it

The horn has a little bit of metal bout 1inch in width and 2 inch in length that mounts to the bottom yoke just under the headstock hope this helps sorry i couldnt get a clearer pic! but the bike is a bit smashed up ;) but you get the idea ;) you may have to fabricate your own bracket ;)_

Hiya
cheers for the photo, exactly what i want.
Yeah, i've tried the indicators after it has started.
It's weird cause the indicators were working fine.
Gonna get a spare bulb and relay to test them
Thanks
David
