At Gallows Corner head up the A12 towards Chelmsford, keep on the A12 until you arrive at the Service Area at Boreham, Exit on slip road to the round about, I think its the 4th exit off said round about, but you can't miss it, its the BP garage..........:rockon

I understood the bit about going down the A12, but i am not sure about where the BP is, is it after the M25 exit off the A12 where u also get off for Brentwood, or there is a petrol station just before the M25, or do i go passed that exit and there is another exit further up,or do i get off at brentwood and the petrol station is there???????

Keep going when you get to the M25, about 10 mins later you will see a big ParcelForce depot up on the left (just after chelmsford) take the next turn off, as you approach the roundabout you will see the petrol station opposite.

STAY ON THE A12, go under the M25, go passed the Brentwood junction, come off at Junction 19, its about 16 miles from the M25/A12 Junction

Raining in Southend at the moment, well i should say its "drizzling" as it can't make it's mind up at the moment :D

All 4 weather sites that i use online mention nothing about rain at all, in fact when i spoke to the RAF yesterday they told me that it was still pretty good up until late Sunday :(

If you went up the A12 towards Colchester mate you would have ridden straight past the services, you cant see them from the road but they are on the first turning for Chelmsford and its called the Boreham Interchange, Springfield services.

From Dagenham it would have either been easier to use the M25 then the A12 or go down the A13, take the A130 through to the A12 and then about 2 junctions up.

I didnt post any earlier because for the guys up that neck of the woods it takes them around 6 minutes to get there, and even for me down in Southend it only takes 20 if i am sitting at the speed limit :D

Going up the A12 in an easterly direction from the M25, there are 3 possible Junctions for Chelmsford, the one you want is the third (Junction 19).

Harriebird took a lot of time and effort doing a map for Boreham services in a thread called ' BP Boreham - A Little Map' this could be well worth a look as Boreham Interchange is clearly marked...............:clap :clap :clap

Day wasnt ruined Karl, just as i was getting into Springfield i saw 8 bikes coming towards me, et voila

Off up to Sudbury courtesy of the Earls Colne road, scary roads if you dont know them but fast and pretty smooth :)

Down to Braintree where we met up with Becky and Shorty, then it was off to Burnham

Few dodgy moments on the bends and a super motard style exit from a roundabout :D

Good blast back, shame about the traffic on the actually bends but it got some going down the bypass, especially head on with what i realised was a Police car after it blipped past in a blur :D :D
