Ginger,
Do yourself a favour and avoid the DNA 50, the people I've heard of have had trouble with them.......ask yourself why you don't see more of them on the road?
It doesn't matter what bike you have, you can't legally derestrict it while you are 16.
Take a look at the Bultaco Astro.

if ya derestrict it ur only lookin at bout 55 - 60 mph. still not enough power to get urself outa trouble. best bet is just buy some ****ter till ur 17 then do ur test u can buy anything then and just get it restricted!

well imm 17 in june, so thinking i could save now as im working like crazy and get a nice 125cc, but the only prob at the mo is getting around as i have no bike now :( and i live away from anywhere. cycling is annoying the heck as its always rainning,
well end of the month should have 500 squid to spend on a bike, 50cc, (unless i save for a 125cc) any ideas what i should get, any members selling?
I'll keep clear of the DNA then,SMT's look good but rare to fined 2nd hand and far to expensive for a new one as all us lads and (ladys) are buying 50cc so the markets stupidly high :(
Anyways thanks

Just wait until you're 17, do your test and get a restricted 400 or 600.

Your gunna need cash for the test, bike and gear. Skip the 50cc as you only have 2 months till 17 and Save Save Save!

Yeah and insurance, £500 won't get you a bike, on the road, and protect you. Might as well safe up and get something that you can keep for a decent amount of time without getting bored.
