View Full Version : Tark Racing Stickers
Hi all. My dads friend has a Vinyl cutter and I can get stickers made up. I have just got a few white Tark Racing logo stickers in white for my fairings. Would anyone else like to help out and buy a few stickers off me? I can get them saying anything you like in pretty much any colour, shape and size.
Thanks,
Mark.

I can prob find a place on my bike for a TARK sticker, how much you wanting for them? You can get them saying other things, that could be really handy! Hmmmm........... Gimme a price, I'll def have a Tark one, and maybe another couple depending!
As I am getting them 1 at a time off a friend who is charging me I am looking at buying a Vinyl cutter so I will be able to make any custom sticker anyone wants. The problem is the price of the machine so i wont be able to give them away as I will need to cover the cost of the vinyl and over time the machine. Should be much more than a quid or so though.
Anyone else think they might like a slogan, website address, etc etc?

Hold on young man. My B I L. Has such a machine and is a bit of a whizz with signs etc. He programmed all of his bosses machines so let me ask him for you.
Cool. But I did mean to say SHOULDN'T be much more than a quid. LOL.

my friend bought 2 sitckers for his car, both medium sized. one said malaga and the other was a bull (hes spanish). anyway that cost him £60 from a shop, so stickers can be quite pricey.
if you sold them at £5 or £10 each im sure people would still buy them knowing what they cost from shops, and it will also help a little bit to your racing. especially if a lot of people bougt them. im real poor right now, but when ive got money ill have a couple.
If you get a machine, just advertise common stickers on ebay. You'll make a mint from chavs "TypeR-ing" their non-TypeR civics and whatnot :)
LOL. Yeah I guess so. There does seem to be a couple of people already set up doing this but one more wont do any harm. And I will just do them cheaper! LOL.
here are a few examples of the stickers I will make:

yup, defo mate! and I won't even charge for my suggestion of exploiting chav ebayers! :) ... well maybe just some cut price stickers! ;)

I love the no plate on the van! Do you have all the stuff to spray bikes as well? I was thinkin of new plastics for my bike, dunno if i should go for a few nicely placed stickers, or painted!
My dad does most of the spraying for me. The last few CBR's I have had with the Shark on and the one with the flames on were sprayed at home. The new CBR came in black so I have just kept it like that. My dad is currently working on a new fairing for it.

i mite be interested in a few stickers to make me look popular with the big bikes LOL. and to help out with the new business :) wat kindof things can u do??
Well at the min I cnat do any as I haven't got the Plotter. It will cost me about £500 for a decent one including the software, vinyl etc etc plus I need to set up some space for it at home which might involve me getting another PC in my room. As I have never done it before dont be asking for 10 different colours on one sticker thats as setailed as they come! Single colour logos, text, web addresses etc etc will do just nicely thanks! LOL

U should definately do www.essexbikers.co.uk (http://www.essexbikers.co.uk) stickers. To promote the forums etc. But I would be interested in a couple ;) cheers Tark
Does anyone know of a way to have the plotter upstairs in my bedroom but send to it from the computer downstairs? I thought there would be some kind of USB wireless device ie one end connected to the plotter USB and another dongle connected to the PC USB? Any Ideas?

u should be able 2 just plug a wireless dongle into the plotter and send them to your computer but if that doesnt work u mite have 2 try a wireless router that u can put next to ur plotter and plug it into the router

i had a white one and a black one.. kept them in my vfr haynes book...which i cold with them in it.. *slaps head*
I got myself a new PC from Dell and a Vinyl plotter is on its way. I will be able to cut up to a maximum of 600mm width and as long as you like. Bear in mind my van letters are 400mm wide so I should be able to make pretty massize stickers!
I am kinda taking small orders to get me some practise. Single colours only for now. LOL.
