wobbly clutch

i hope someone can help me here. i started work again on the zxr today and the clutch is wobbly. i got it all torqued down properly, but the friction plates, steel plates and the spring plates all move together. should it be doing this???

good news though is i put the head back on, and put the cams in so its very nearly ready. all i need now is a couple of gaskets, an alternator rotor (in the post), some new fuel lines and a rear brake caliper. the ill be ready to put the engine back in and try starting. :)

so i could be riding again pretty soon.

excellent! ZXR's are renound for having noisey clutches.....although i dont really remember it doing it when i had it!

this is a different basket to the one that was fitted to your engine. i might just swap them over, the one in my new engine is slightly different. it never wobbled in the old engine. i just wanted to be lazy and hope it would be ok.

its a brand new basket. its only done 5 laps of brands.
