well to access the cookie menu you open up your browser eg Internet Explorer then on the menu's you go to Tools>Internet Options> then on the General Tab there should be a bit that says Temporary Internet Files
then there should be 3 buttons underneath saying
button1: Delete Cookies
button2: Delete Files
button3: Settings
if you want to delte the cookies then click delete cookies and if you want to delete all your favourites etc click Delte files but i dont know how this will help the connection problem how often does it disconnect??

arr right yeah then you need to change the cookies i throught you were talking about being conencted to the net then disconnecting
right for that you need to go to the menu in the browser
and go tools>internet options then click the tab marked Privacy then in privacy drag the bar down to Medium thats what im set on if that doesnt work then set it to low then all failing that set it too accept all cookies ok babe?? understand??

Anyways, same topic, different computer! I didnt notice till i went to my friends and used her internet to try to get onto EB (shes on AOL so needless to say it didnt work!) anyway wen i was in the portal i noticed that there were a fair few links there, but i just looked on my pc and they arent there! also things like spiders ''condom man'' avatar and dans ''girl in white'' signiture and Trouty and Wombles ''blinking eye'' avator dont move on my pc, but they did on hers. Wassup with that? shes on AOL dial up and i got 1MB broadband! i dont have any trouble with the movie clips like in the Joker section they load well quick and play with no problems, but this is something thats bugging me.
Thanks.
xxxxxx
Its probably settings in Internet explorer.
Try downloading mozilla, available here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.5/mozilla-win32-1.5-installer.exe
It wont delete or replace anything on your pc, so dont worry about anything. Once installed, use mozilla like you would internet explorer.

err Dan, did wot you said and still not gettin them! no links and no movement from those pieces!
dan, y get her to d/l that. Y not just say do the win updates? Get SP1!
SP1 will not help sarah. The problem will probably lie under the advanced settings in IE6 (providing she uses IE6) - seeing as sarah isnt that technical (no offence girl) the easiest thing is to just try another browser. Mozilla is better than IE anyhow.

Did you come onto the site using mozilla? If you did, as it loads you see a fire breathing dragon or something.... just before it loads.

one option to check in Internet explorer is the following
from the TOOLS menu select INTERNET OPTIONS.
Select the ADVANCED tab (last one on right)
Scroll down to MULTIMEDIA and check to see if "Play Animations in Web Pages" is checked.
