i hit a cats eye on a bend unsettling my front into a tank slapper which sent me into a tree at 80ish the bike slid down the road about a 100 yards.
air ambulance came out, i didnt want em to or call them it must have been a passer by. they only had to come about 500 yards. i was in full lethers and gloves and everything if i wasnt i wouldnt be typing now i'd have a little tag on my toe! the skin on my right wrist is worn down to the bone which kinda hurt. and im probably gonna lose my tumb nail. and i cant move my shoulder much. other than that im fine. probably the luckiest person in the world really. the guy who saw it all thought i was dead seeing as i bounced of two or three trees. but dont tell me mum that she'll go mental.
So take it easy out there you lot and no matter how good you are pay attention it happens to the best of us!
Also i missed a sign post by about three - four feet aswell pretty scary!!!

If you walked away then you are a very luck lad. My brother did similar and was chair bound for a few months, and had a quarter pounder size chunk removed from his leg. So it sounds like you were very lucky indeed. I will tell all at the pub as they have prob all left by now. Take it easy, you'll ache like buggery tomorrow. ATB.

parts and fairing most of all front end sub frame (clock mounting bracket type thing) and RHS rear set would be bloody handy
cheers mate

ain't got no parts, but if you need a hand stripping the bike down and putting back together
how many parts did the fairing break into ...? do the yokes and forks look ok..?
stick a post on mcnninjas for the parts....
you might find the following link useful for identifying the parts you need
