a taxing question

can anyone explain the situation re 6/12 months tax 4 bikes can u still tax a bike 4 6 months,or do all bikes regardless of cc have to b taxed 4 12 months

Not Over 150cc 15.00 -
151cc - 400cc 31.00 -
401 - 600cc 46.00 -
All other motorcycles 62.00 34.10

so only bikes over 600 can pay 6 months, because below that its under £50 per year. Hope this is helpfull and answers your question.

thanks people only need to tax the beast 4 6 months as im a wuss fair weather rider,had a result in another way also,been trying to justify buying a 1000 4 the past 2 years to my darling wife to be now i have one,a very lame one,but at least its better than no deffence at all

Don't forget you can always buy a year then send it of and claim a refund after 6 months and declare it SORN

Tax recently went up aswell, until a few weeks back it was ~a quid cheaper.
