UK 400's tend to hold their value a bit better especially where dealers are concerned ;)
However you have a good sized bike to be able to capture the newly "passed" bikers, fairly cheap to insure as a first bike and pretty reliabile too.
My advice would be to do plenty of research on MCN, Biketrader (take Ebay with a pinch of salt) and find a happy medium that will get you the sale but not leave you feeling out of pocket.
Unless the bike is in mint condition and with a full service history then the advantage falls to the prospective buyer specifically because there is then grounds to haggle, but 22,000km (13600 ish) miles isnt particularly high mileage really so there is something in your favour.
Some buyers might be wary because its an import of the fact there is no service history, but just convince them that the shop you bought it from serviced it as part of the sale agreement to throw it back at them too ;)

the only thing that people might question is the non-standard paintjob (just being honest, not wanting to start a row) but that bike is well tidy and sweet as a nut (was just a bit out of my price range at the time) -allenbys has a pretty decent reputation so you should be fine. new tyres will def. help as will all the MOT and tax being ready to go.
ples you have the tasty pipe, are you gonna put the standard one and let your good mate harrie have the tasty pipe at a knockdown rate ;) can't blame a girl for trying now
good luck!

Put it on here in the for sale forum. There must be a newly qualified rider out there looking for a sporty first bike.

they're not JUST for new riders, i have to point out, they are huge fun for anyone looking for something cheap to run and with a stupidly high fun factor!

no offence meant just that they are not as intimidating as the bigger bikes. ( i forgot you had one!)
