another tyre queston

in a nut shell can i put an 014 on the rear if i have 020 on the front. the 020 on the back it nice and square now and has had a puncture repair so i think its time for a new 1. every 1 seems to be raving about the 014s, r they ne good? cheers guys

If it was me i wouldnt, i imagine you could get away with an 014 on the front given that its a Sports performance tyre but the 020 is a slightly harder compound than the 014 and is more for fast sports touring,

Its better to have the softer one at the front because thats the one you rely on for the grip and stability, over the rubber at the back that drives you :)

In fact i just found on another site that some of the ZX9R people like to use a BT014 at the front and the BT020 at the rear for the reasons i posted ;) (knew there was logic in the thinking :D ).

i have an 010 on the front and 014 on the rear, seems to be evan better than 010-010! but yeah 020 was hard in the middle soft round the edges, so i wouldnt reckomend it!

might just save the pennies and get them both replaced for something abit softer as i have no future plans to use it to commute to work
