Just took my bike out for a ride after 'having a look' ;);) at the restrictor kit.

What a difference it makes, sooo intensely fast and smooth :laugh2. My god I love riding:love1 . Such a rush. After all the hassle I had taking them out, It suddenly seems well worth it. Don't want to put them back in.

Obviously Ill be taking it easy for a while, getting used to the bike. But any hints or tips/advice related to this?
Just thought I'd ask as Lateshift always has very good advice. :grin2

yeah, take it very easy! ha

there's a massive different on how fast a car will come up on you at 140 compared 100, so just take it easy, very easy... and have fun 1: D

No advice i can give on this really apart from use common sense :)

get used to winding the power on a lot more smoothly compared to when the restrictors and thats about it, bearing in mind that licence losing speeds will appear a lot quicker now, as will bends and things like that, so its all about keeping the lines smooth to compensate the extra power you have just found ;)

and be extra careful especially where accidents are likely to occur, you bin it without the restriction kit in, then you are looking at points, fines and invalid insurance if it goes that far ;)

Yeah, and like I said the other day, your favourite bend that you used to come up to at 50mph in 4th gear, will now be a 2nd gear corner that you can come upto at 80mph, so take it easy.
