Gonna try to post some pics for you guys so you know who ya been fussin' over?! As you will see - not much to write home about - but your resident older woman! hehehe - enjoy!

Hi Spider - yup! My bike is as you may have guessed - my pride and joy! I've had it since it was new - (June 2001) Have just put a new set of tyres on her - the week before my track day in fact! and i'm proud tio say she looks almost as good as the day i picked her up!

not like some of us huh!! when i get a proper bike i will take care of it, my 'peds a wreck!! my dad stuck it back togetha with insulting tape after a little accident on a roundabout in rainham!!!! glad your back TT, it'll be nice to have a bit of female support against all these guys, not that i'm complaining bout having them all to myself for a bit, but it's nice to share!
Hi Sarah hunny! - Glad im welcome - although i think most of the lads have lost interest now that they've seen my pics! hehe - never mind! (Either that or they feel threatened by an older lady with a big bike that knows how to ride!!!!!)- It's still good to be here and getting to know a few local riders

well tark n you will be slowest on the straights, but seeing as tark is a racer and can do corners, looks like its you n me spider at the back lol

lol yeah!! but im pretty good at corners up to 70mph as havent gone faster than that yet due to no powervalves but ill see

have installed the powervalves but need a seal for it as it s ****ing out oil need the sea that goes round the actual valve any ideas where i can get 1 before sunday?

go to a local car shop type place they will ahve a selection of O-rings - should have one big enuff!
well tark n you will be slowest on the straights, but seeing as tark is a racer and can do corners, looks like its you n me spider at the back lol
Last weekend when the weather was good my tyres were so hot they were slifding all over the track! I was like rossi! Only problem was i was going that low i have ground a big wedge off my pegs and right along my fairing!! Now thats low!

i dont think your fairing lieks you too much tark you seem to damage it alot!!
I didn't mind last week cos i was still using my old fairing without a screen. I will be ****ed off if it does it to my new painted one at Donington! Time to adjust the suspension!!

What sh*ts me up the most is when you going round a corner that fast that you knee is touching the tank on one side and the track on the otherside, your fairing and pegs are touching, you knee is burning hot on the floor, your doing about 100mph and you running out of track!!! :twisted:

nah i like corners its just that there are manhole covers, bumps, ripples, and things commin the other way across the line! GRRR

lol yeah done that a few times got a bit cockey once went round a corner bout 70-75 mph lent as far over as i could and sson realised i was running across the white line with with a ford escort estate coming my way!!! lol luckerly he turned into a road before i hit him that would have been pain full!!!

thats why i do it on a track!!
Corners rule - without corners, riding a bike would be pants.

yeah thats it but then there is always traffic to weave around n over/undertake lol!
bad realyl cos the last time we went out dan opened it up so i did until he let off, then i went past him and was weavin through traffic at about 90!!!
dangerous n not clever.....but a thrill to say the least!

I'm saying nothing about the speeds i filter through traffic at on the SV when there's a heap full of motorway traffic to be got through?!
As for corners - well I took the double apex at Gerrards at Mallory Park at 90 but wish i had gone faster! and the exit off the M25 onto the M20 (nice sweeping left hander btw!) at approx a tonne! but again - the SV wanted to go faster! Wanting to keep my licence stopped me from seeing just how sweet she would have taken it at a tonne twenty! lol.....Never know when unmarked plod are lurking!?!
Usually i ride quite conservatively as the plastics are an expensive thing to replace - so anyone considering going pillion with me can relax! I'm a pussycat with passengers! - honest....

Last weekend i took Gerrards at 12,000 revs in 5th gear with my fariring, pegs and engine casing touching the floor! That was scary! Not to mention my tyres had gone off and i was slowly sliding!! :twisted:
The only down side is that i only had one pair of undies and it has scrapped my new paintwork!! :evil: :cry:

i got really low going round a round 'a' bout cause i was going to fast down the bypass coming towards it (it was 2am so no cars) and got so low my rubber got burnt off of my pegs and sparks were coming from sumwhere!

lol....the last time o got really low my front tyre sed "f*ck u" and let go of the road!! But i always seem to catch my feet on the floor, u should see my trainers...well if ur goin to snetterton u will ;)

I ride with my feet pointed out so also have the tops blunted off my boots - but i said BOOTS!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps its cos i've been around longer than you guys - but please please please - get yourself some bike boots! they dont have to cost a fortune - I spend lots when i buy a pair of boots - i currently have a pair of Daytona Gortex race boots - but that is solely (If you'll pardon the punn?!) cos i can afford to - However boots dont have to cost the earth and you really dont wanna see the results that i have seen of what remains of feet after an off of the foot catching variety?!!!!!!!!!
I know i sound like your mum! - but on the subject of protective clothing - I could rant all night!!!!!
It is at this point i will stop myself before i alienate all of you! and put my soap box back in the corner! But please please please ask your family to club together at Christmas and get you some decent gear!!

Oh! and its the NEC at Birmingham - the International motorcycle and Scooter show - usually on in November mate! I'll be there - suprise suprise! You can usually pick up some good bargains there too!
Try and find the JTS leathers stand - they are mates of mine - and sell decent leathers at reasonable rates!

lol-awh my babies!!!! - Like J said - it was for an exceptionally good reason... - and I have to admit that we weren't going that slowly at times!!!!! - The route that had been chosen by Cookie himself took us along the coast road - right up on the cliffs heading from Bridport back into Weymouth - I would NEVER however condone (as you all know too well!) not riding without full leathers under 'normal' circumstances....But I guess there always has to be an exception that proves the rule??!!

Kool, he looks nice. True scot.... does he have an accent? Scottish accents are so nice, almost as good as Irish accents! Mmmmmm, maybe thats just me tho! lol
lol Sarah - Yes - he does have a really soft sexy Scottish accent -and he still lives there! so cant see it changing! 500 miles is a hell of a distance to travel so we must be happy - RyanAir are loving it! lol - much quicker and cheaper than riding back and forth ALL the time - Only takes about an hour by plane (against about 7 hours riding) and less money than you would put in your bike tank one way - let alone on the round trip...
Wish i could figure out why my pics are just coming up as links rather than actual pics - i used to be able to manage it?! - any moderators out there that can rectify this - please feel free! lol
