Teams in the KRC race series each have to provide a minimum of 1 marshall, however, our team marshall is unable to attend.

If anyone would like to try their hand at this, please let me know ASAP. its this saturday (20th may) so you can either arrive friday night (i have spare tents/sleeping bags etc with me), or early saturday morning (before 8am).

Experience not required as a quick training course will be given by the cheif marshall.

You will get a packed lunch suppllied by krc to last you whilst marshalling, and we always make sure there is coffee and food available for before and after racing (we ALWAYS have a post race curry)

What i do need is a definite 'yes! i'll be there daz!' as unfortunately, i've had 2 or 3 'ill let u know in next couple of days' not get back to me... :(

please PM me if you would like to do this, and can DEFINITELY do this particular day.

racing ends at 6pm.

thanks,
Daz

Hurry up, get back to me, I'm getting all excited now!

Reckon I can handle it, plenty of common sense, I reckon thats the most needed commodity for a Marshall isn't it?

thanks very much guys - weather was a bit crap, but hope you all had a good day :)

despite the fact that we crashed twice prior to the race, and twice during the race, we eventually finished 3rd in class (trophy) which puts us 3rd in the class championship, just 1 point behind 2nd and 6 points behind 1st... GAME ON!! :)

Well done Trouty, I had a great time, got soaked and cold, but still enjoyed it.

Thanks

Richard

....oh, and I can vouch that Trouty had no more than a glass (read plastic beaker) of wine on his Birthday

What a Day throughly enjoyed it would love to do it again. The lads rode really well i'm impressed by the speed you all went round that track for 6 hours between ya. Again well done for the 3rd place well deserved and the curry was lovely . Got to wave the Yellow red and green flags push bikes from russels to the pits get on track waving my yellow flag telling people to slow down as a rider didnt get up straight away. Weather was ****e but i didnt care as it was a great day plenty of action from highsides to low sides and a total ****head on the radio that no-one could understand

Thanks Trouty:clap

If you think Clares Curry was good, you should have tried her Lasagne!
