when when when when when will car drivers learn how to drive, its not that easy to flip a car anyway on a straight road. some idiot managed to today on the A131 to braintree and little old me on my day off trying to enjoy a spot of golf with the old man got stuck in it, for ages. so instead we head round some pikey backroads and make it there, then it starts to bloody rain. so we think sod this lets just do a spot of shopping at freeport then head off home. so we're heading home expecting the crash to have been cleared up and low and behold it hadnt!! so more traffic, more pikey backraods and im home, but not happy, what a waste of a day off, well half of it

i didnt get close enough to see the damage, just from a distance, so basically he was prob trying to overtake when the lampost jumped out of nowhere and hit him??
I looked like, he or she, had run straight over the thingy with the keep left sign in the centre of the road, straight over the lamp post and flipped it, it was on its side when another rider and myself went passed, they had just opened the A131 to Braintree........But the A131 back was still closed, when we came back at about 14:00 they had just opened fully, RESULT. So we didn't get caught up in any traffic.

Must be somthing about braintree (why do i have to live here)
The other day i had to nip down the bike shop to pick up a spare for my mates Speed Triple and thought i'd nip home on the bypass as the town was chocablock with cages. Errrm not a good move got to the bypass and wall to wall cages for about 2 miles and as far as i could see back the other way. So filtering the jam it seems some idiot decided to jackknife a trailer blocking one lane of the braintree bypass in rush hour, loadsa emergency vehicles in attendance, But didnt seem too serious as i passed it. hehe glad i had the bike:rockon

Apparently, they're making it all dual-carrage way soon, which is good because it's a ****ing dangerous bit of road, it's just wide enough for a car and a half which is ****ing stupid.... it'll be so much safer as a dual carrage way

the A130 i'd say is the bad one.
with its lovely 2 car wide lanes, allowing for close calls of cars overtaking at the same time on opposite sides! :laughboun
even more fun being a bike stuck in the middle of two people starting to overtake and not paying attention to you being there already...

Well that is a good question ....... and i can only take a guess
although the trailer was a twin axle type one of the tyres was flat, dunno if that happened before or during the accident, but i would guess he blew it whilst speeding, or panicked when tyre went. Just bloody glad i wasn't anywhere near it when it actually happened.

neither. It was searings/highfield garage in rayne road I live across town near marks farm tescos, doubt you have seen me on it yet tho, only been out a few times on the bike since i got it. And will most likely not be out again for another week or so, not untill i get a new set of boots on the bike, my rear is like decidedly dodgy, although it rode back from southampton ok :headbashwhen i bought it :grin2
