i own a tzr rr 4dl 93 model have prolem with the lights they only come on when the engine is running everything else works ie indicators brake lights instrument panel ect when ignition is switched on but headlight and tail light dont untill engine is running anybody got any ideas thanks

the bike had been an accident before i bought it and all the fairings were removed plus the headlight and replaced with twin spots these had the same prolem i have replaced the plastics and headlight using the same wiring tried diffrent confirarations but no joy thanks

ok confused now. Has it always done it? yes or no?

also, is it really a problem??? You wont be riding at night down the lanes with yuor engine off will you?

I had a yamaha xt that done exactly the same thing. Lights only came on once the engine was runnin,, so no.. your bike's not goin weird on you...
Its quite normal....
