Do you know this road?

Does anyone know this road please? It's a big long straight and it runs alongside a reservoire. I think it might be near burnham but I'm not sure. I've only been down it twice before but I was following other people and I don't really know that area. If anyone knows of it, do you know what the roads called? or how i can get there from the A127? I've got no work this week:clap so I thought I'd go and try and get my bearings round some new areas like Burnham, billericay,chelmsford etc etc. I'm from Romford originaly and any further out than that and I'm lost:laugh1 I don't even really know Brentwood and I've lived here a year:grin2

was there the weekend it is in west hanningfield , its perfect for a high speed test ( i dont do that obviously though). Cant tell you exactly where though as I am terrible with directions. But I guess head for the resevoir and you will find it.

Be careful though because it gets bumpy fast, and theres a lot of cross-winds coming down from the resevoir

Go through Billericay heading for stock, as you come out of the Village of stock, you go past a Golf Club on you left, then about a half a mile down the road turn right (I think its signposted Wickford) follow this road for about 1 mile and take the left turn for West Hanningfield.

Head for West Hanningfield just before you get into the village turn right following the signs for the Wild Life Reserve. (I think thats where Micky Lives...PMSL :laugh1 :laugh1 )

i've never taken you down there (i think your thinking of the straight piece of road from burnham to bradwell)....anyhoo....the road in question is in west hanningfield... i only went over there when drew and juvie posted up a vid of them playing on that road

its a just under a mile long... houses at one end, water works at the other.. and no junctions

there's also a big straight that goes across the middle of a reservoir south of colchester, on the B1026, but i think you've found your road so i'll shut up now

Theres hanningfield reservior.... which isnt as good cos of the wind and the rough/blind bend at one end.

You got the A130 15 Miles of shiney new tarmac between the A12 and A127

Failing that go to santa pod thats always a good crack. Get your quarter mile results and your 0-60 time print outs!
