yea it looked exactly like that side picture with the silver XT sticker....are they official stickers for that bike? that mite be why

As far as i know, it is an official sticker for the xt, but i think it was only used on the millenium edition. Basically a limited edition, so you don't see many around like it. Saw a pic of one and fell in love..lol.. So bought a standard xt and just re-sprayed it and stuck the millenium graphics on.....
Sold it straight away.. Had loads of phone calls. People loved it.
Lookin for another one now. Somethin to keep me busy when winter comes round.....

yea it looks really nice done up like that...did you say you only got a grand for it... i would have tried to get a bit more out ofit it looks mint, also did you not like the off-road style tires, ive got them and i was pooin' it before my CBT because id been told they had no grip what so ever but they're great actually

I was happy with a grand.. Only put it on ebay, and at the end of the day i got my money back on the bike with a couple of hundred profit. Its just nice to see the finished bike and get so much interest off people. Makes it all worth it in the end to get a good response off people..
As for the tyres, i never had a problem with em, they were on the bike when i bought it so i left em on there to keep costs down more than anything..
I've got loads of pics of the re-build. Was a great little bike to work with, and i can't wait till i get the next one...

id love to get bikes and build em up but the only thing is knowing what to do, the only slightly major thing i know how to do is take the carb out and clean the jets lol, the bloke i bought my bike off built up bikes he had two suzuki gsxrs, a track one and a road one(put it under a bus somehow so it was smashed up), my bike and he was building up a moped and paintin it light blue with the rizla replica stickers, quite interested in bikes so as i get older i might start learning about how to rebuild them, would be something fun to do with my spare time lol
