Hi,
Selling my VFR 750 1996 following purchase of a Daytona.
Good bits:
Totally reliable, never missed a beat - very smooth
Totally standard
Newish chain and sprockets
Low mileage (16K)
Recent full service (May) including new oil, oil filter, air filter, sparks, valve check and carb balance.
Lots of history.
Single seat cover.
Baglux tank cover and bag.
Spare key, V5, original tool kit and manual.
Datatagged.
Bad bits:
Scuff on the top fairing, belly pan, barend weight, broken mirror, small dent in tank (hidden by baglux) - the bike was knocked over while parked. Otherwise cosmetically good.
Not honda serviced.
Short TAX and MOT.
Slight bar wobble at 40mph - I'm certain its the front tyre.
I'm happy to sell it as it is cheap (~£1500), or I will MOT it and tidy it up for an ebay sale.
Make an ideal commuter or will tidy up very nicely - good honest bike.

Bar wobble is probably due to a very popular mod on that bike which is dropping the forks through the yoke by about 2mm, improves turn in but can lead to slight wobbles!

Yeah, I heard that is a popular mod.
But, I think it is the tyre, you can feel a slight tread irregularity - its not dangerous and the tyre has a lot of wear left, so i'll leave it as it is for now.

I bought a new mirror and belly pan today, so it will be a bit smarter in a couple of days. Price remains the same until I MOT it next week(only 1 month left).
