Yes as Trouty says I have been known to enjoy the odd trackday or two

Brands Hatch mainly, but the last two have been at Cadwell 8)

Yeah I know Troutslayer from Thelondonbikers.com...

Was doing full circuit both times I've been, don't know times from first day there but last week in the morning I was getting held up badly and was doing 1.55's, ended up on the grass twice in one session (one lap after the other) trying to open a gap so I didn't get blatted on the next straight, moved into the fast group in the afternoon to try and find some
space, could only get down to 1.50 but was doing that every lap so was pleased with that. The gearing is all wrong at the mo so should be able to make some time by working with that a bit...

the first time i went to Cadwell i got a 1.59. Now a few races later (4 meetings) i am now doing 1.38's on my 1991 CBR600!! See I'm a Cadwell Godess!

Its different when your racing. Your lap times go down by seconds compaired to a track day or practise just cos of the race pace.

well 1.38 sounds good to me and kept me in the top ten but Hizzy did it in about 1.25 on his Duke!!! Thats the lap record.

i was 15 seconds off the front runners in both races. powervalve problems u see. it felt like carb probs, so after first race i pulled the carbs apart for cleaning/check over, but didnt find out it was p/valve until i got home :(

still, managed to keep some 400's behind me despite my mech probs! :D

just a question but whats the top speed of ur bikes?

The Yeti

I've had over 160 on the speedo, but you need to allow for some error on the speedo which could be as much as 10-20mph difference...

But it should comfotably do a bit over 150mph 8)

well ive just brought a TZR 125 (with rear disc brake) the bloke said the engine is tuned and his m8 (who it was before) had 100mph out of it 2 up! with out powervavle kit (powervalve fully open) so im putting that engine in my bike and attaching the powervalve kit to it and then from mellers bike im adding an All Speed Exhaust! so then i will let you know what the top speed is!!!

will be adding some pics aswell soon

If you are going to change the exhause, you need to change the air filter aswell... and consider re jetting the carb.
