Seeing as there is a lot of EB bits for sale at the momeny. Would it not be possible to add a link to a seperate page for a shop. Then any profits made phaps a % could go towards the running of the site and the rest into a pot for a day out or a crash fund or anything else someone can dream up ! As I said ...............just an idea.:reading

Not a bad idea at all, but then I'd have to put the price up on the t shirts as they were a non-profit excersize :D

Certainly worth considering, but might get complicated!!! :D

Nice idea, would have to be done very carefully though. Would need a treasurer we could all be happy with and prob a bank account. Have one person who we all order from, and they handle the monies and pass on orders to Jetski, Rob and Chubbs.

Brilliant idea maybe a pound extra on the items?
A crash fund is probably the best idea , or maybe at the end of each year use the total balance for a BIG BARBECUE and all get wasted?

As for treasurer not me maybe one of the mods?

Or how about a yearly donation to the disabled bikers club as they help to get crash victims back on the road after serious injuries.
I am biased as my dad was seriously injured on a bike , but it seems like the best idea to me.

Robsal, are you able to crop that signature so it fits half of my page instead of a full one?? :D :D

(i think people need to understand something with signatures here, first and foremost the bigger it is the more you have to scroll through a post, the bigger the file, the more time it takes for your PC to download each time you refresh a page, and not to mention the fact that big images take up bandwidth too (which means it costs more in terms of hosting ;) ).

And there was me thinking you were a graphics designer due to that spanking image :D

It would ba nice to save up the money and pay for the most people to do a track day or at least pay some deposts?

Or for a big bbq at the end of the year

How bout having a sticky topic in the For Sale section, for essex bikers stuff, and post what is available, sizes, prices and who to contact. No one posts unless they have something that has been discussed in romford market, organised, made and is actually for sale (in other words, no "oh what do u guys think about getting........" topics) that way it stays simple, Jetski would do the clothing bits that she organised so wonderfully (as long as she doesnt mind of course) the guy with the keyrings (havent caught up on that topic yet) can sort out the keyrings, and it stays simple. As for the profits, there could be an essex bikers account in something like pay pal, opened by a moderator, that the sellers pay a percentage of the profits (obv would mean a little increase on prices) into, and it could be used for things like advertisment for the site, trackday deposits (if theres a large enough amount) or whatever else is agreed apon.

Just an idea mind. :)

I will happily host an ecommmerce site for anyone wishing to buy tee shirts keyrings or whatever else. Payments via paypal or debit cards are not a problem. I offered to help Dan out a while back and had to say no due to family and other things. More than happy to do this now. No costs to me, everything ploughed back in.

Interested shout me and i'll set it up.
