hello everyone

some of you know my gixxer 400 GK73A - some of you dont.....

basically i dont get chance to ride it much and what with the theft/crime rate going up outside my house lately lol I feel that its time to stop repairing it and paying insurance on something i dont use whilst saving for a house etc.

dont think its worth anything as a whole, but if anyone wants it im open to offers.

its currently running quite well - its finally had a new/second hand set of carbs fitted and balanced which means its really rideable in the mid range at long last!

I fitted some new fork seals a few weeks ago but due to a few unplanned wheelies one of them is now weeping again - annoying! - the speedo works but the needle fell off so i bought another set of clocks which i have not fitted.

it currently has no MOT - it ran out a few months back, and due to a scorpion can i am not sure if it will go through an MOT without changing it - it has been through before but i think it was 'worked' around ;)

its has good tyres on it, its had 6 monthly oil changes, starts more or less first time without choke, the lights work, brakes work etc etc dunno what else to say about it!

oh its taxed aswell which isnt much i know but saves another job doesnt it!

if anyone is interested in it whole then please PM me an offer, if not then if anyone wants any bits then PM me offers for the bits and i will consider breaking it :)

This really IS a good bike people! i saw it on last march's BIG ride out -and it really is in good nick! Also im pretty sure FingerZ is actually a mechanic, and i seem to remember him talking about how he was maintaining/fixing his bike regardless of costs! SO like i said, its well looked after!
Get your selfs a bargain people....Make that man an offer!

lol thats true - i am forever breaking it lol!

racemeandsee - i appreciate the comments but i haven tmaintained it all tht well if im honest and the bike has been down on one side - its been sat most of its time on me drive hence its not in great nick - altho it does have some new carbs and goes well, altho not well enuff to get better than 3rd at the bulldog bash this year sadly :(

i wanna keep it, but i need yet another fork seal doing or some new forks - fancied some upside downies from a later gixer, but it means i need to change the front discs, calipers, and yolks in order to fit them which i might aswell just get a new bike for - it also needs a quieter exhaust can as this one wont pass the MOT - then if i keep it, it needs dynojetting in order to get it to run 12.5's so i can win bulldog again lol!

probbaly end up keeping it, but i need a garage to work on it in really and the bits above

then i will paint it once its all on the road again - keep saying i will but never get round to it lol!
