On the way into work this morning I came across a bloke paddling his Fazer along. Pulled up and asked if he was OK. Basically his gearbox has just self destructed. He said he was worried as he had to be somewhere by 7am, which was in about 15 minutes time, so I offered him a lift on the back. So 10 mins later I deliver a very happy chappy to his meeting on time. About time I got to re-balance the biker scales for the numerous times I have been stranded and offered help.
How many cage drivers would do that then eh? Eh? :grin2

My week so far travelling home from work
Wednesday Mercedes van on side across road by St Lawrence junction. 8 mile detour in car
Thursday crash by Latchingdon roundabout. 14 mile detour in car
Friday Day off, rain no bike. But I did get to adjust my rear brake lever
Sat, Sun & Mon Knocking down walls, rewiring house and building new walls in father in laws house no bike.
Tues Crash in Maldon 1/2 mile detour ON BIKE.
Why could I not get the long detours on the bike
And why is everyone crashing so much. Theres more oil, diesel, sand on that Bradwell road than a Cornish coastal resort after a sunken oil tanker.
And whats more I think Ive got another puncture. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

didn't get any help like that today when my mate got a puncture....although it's quite fun doing 10 mph in the bicycle lane. saw quite a few bikes and they just rode past us wen he was trying to push it to the petrol station
