View Full Version : My NC30 History Video
The footage is sooo very old, but I thought I'd make a final video.
The footage is before I got better, so it's all pretty crap but hey, it's a 400cc.
Let me know what you think. :P

Can't help but think it's easy to predict the end of that video.

Why? The only thing I showed was wheelies. I crashed when I was on my way home doing the speed limit.

There's a saying - well I say a saying, it's something I'm about to say.
"You ride like a ****, you crash".
Proove me wrong.

Before this spirals out of hand, please dont let this end up in an argument, everyone has opinions but for the sake of the forums this wont be turning into a thread about how not to ride ;)

I was riding within the speed limits when I crashed. Everytime I rode like a ****, I never crashed.

Well it was bound to happen.
Pushed your luck a little wheelying over that junction!
Silly boy !
Its always when you obey the limit something happens
Pathetic !!
You should be :shooter for ridding like that on a public road.
Dont get me wrong fella, I have been known to do the odd wheelie or three myself, but NEVER in a place like you were doing.
I must agree with Dal.......................Pathetic !!

I agree, I didn't even get onto the fact that road was way too busy for doing **** like that.
And I respect Lateshift's position that he doesn't want this to be an argument, but this is a discussion on a forum, where everyone has their opinion. Not everything should be moderated.
The fact you were obeying the road laws when you crashed is slightly irrelevant to me. If you carried on riding like that it would only be a matter of time before you wrapped it around a bus queue or a car full of kids or something similar.
I have respect for people who can wheelie, but they need to know when and when not to do it. Preferably keep it off roads and away from other people if you have to do it on roads.
Like when you overtook that ped on the rear wheel, a slight misjudgement and you both would have been history.
Pathetic.

History? Doing 20mph past him?

Its not the speed its the way you land that does it!!!!!!!!!
It's for exactly the reason demonstrated in your video that people want to ban bikes. And when us genuine bikers see this type of thing, we can see thier point.
It ain't big and sure ain't clever!
I guess you posted this expecting everyone to say how cool you are. Back fired a bit didn't it!!:p
wheelies... you'd never catch me doing something so silly
( sorry alec :( )
History? Doing 20mph past him?
even at 20 mph... you lose it.. front comes down half cocked... you cross the white lines... and all it takes is a car coming the other way
pick a better spot.. (not just the traffic/junctions but the road surface don't look great)
only other comment is, in some of the clips your bringing the front down on the limiter...... don't!!! ... if the front comes down on the rev limiter and goes into a slap your going down the road on your arse because you go no power to power out of the slap... come down on the limiter and there only one place for the weight transfer to go and thats the front wheel
genuine bikers
what make a biker genuine...?

And nothing is being moderated either so lets not go down that road ;)
The point i am making (and was right in the end) is that it would end up slating him for his riding, opinion is one thing but we dont openly insult people on here full stop, and i didnt want it to end with people slagging each other off, an opinion of someones riding can be made without trying to ridicule him beyond compare.
We all do daft things on the road, i have seen it from all of us, so lets just keep it down to a minor disagreement before we end up like plenty of other forums that does nothing to advertise the level of intellect on the forum itself ;)

I hate it when other people are right.
Well there you go, I'm not going to openly insult you Luke, but I disagree with riding like that, in a place like that.

As do i ;) :D
For me, the fact there is front wheel action going on whilst cars are on the road, and whilst its so close to the centre of the road (very nearly on the white line) just says that there was more than a disregard for anyone else other than the camera.
I think pulling wheelies is cool, i cant do it for the life of me other than when i rape the throttle and dont expect it :D
But i wouldnt dream of even trying that on anything other than a road that is unlikely to get any traffic on, that should probably read on private land ;)
