Hideout are very good, I used them to repair a couple of sets of leathers last year. They're not particularly cheap mind, but you get a nice job.

You can get directions off their web site but when you go there remember you're looking for a farm building in the middle of no where as opposed to a normal shop front other wise it's easy to miss.

Some else to try would Harpers http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/ They make Wolf leathers on site.

They put a new zip (Jacket to Jeans) in my Dainese suit.

Very helpful :D But she'd already spoke to them (first post!) :D

Becky, I had my leather's cleaned by -

www.scrubbersleathers.co.uk (http://www.scrubbersleathers.co.uk)

They are really good and although they specialising in cleaning leathers, I think they also do carry out some repair work... why don't you contact them? This is a quote from their website....

'Scrubbers can also undertake minor repairs and alterations to your clothing including zip repair/renewals, lining repairs, and general stitching. Please feel free to contact us with your requirements and for a quotation. We will also be happy to direct you to specialist repairers if we cannot help'

I know yours aren't really 'minor' repairs, but it would probably worth contacting them to find out what they say/recommend? :)

heehee some great f*cking news. just got back from hideout, the lady had a quick look at them. i was expecting about 200 quid to get them done, but she said between 120 - 150.

theres alot of the panels that need replacing, and the lining too. thats why its quite exspensive. now i dont have to try and find another jacket........im so bloody happy :grin2 :grin2 :grin2

Sounds like a good deal, i dont think thats expensive at all considering the reputation Hideout have for making made to measure suits and the quality of them too ;)

I would still look into getting a spare set of leathers for scratching round a track on in the future though, keep your eye on ebay, grab a bargain and then bin them if they get wrecked :)
