Hi
I've bought a 2005 rs 125 from East Midland superbikes for £2995. I've nearly done the 600 miles to run it in. The guys at EMS told me it was a full power version. I thought this was a great deal until the first time I reved up to 8-8500rpm and the power dropped off I guess meaning that there is no power valve fitted or if i'm lucky it isn't connected. First question does anyone know how to do this/ have a pic of what to look for?
The reason i bought one of these bikes was i had a go on a 94/95 model and loved it. My 05 has a really annoying timing miss firing at between 5-6000rpm. I've read up a little about this something to do with the world going green. Last question is it possible to simply plug in a 93,94 cdi unit to my 05 wiring. Or would it possible to do what the guy on .navero.co.uk/rs125zone says to a 05 cdi.
cheers Tim
