haha - how funny is that - good ol TZRR's - they do indeed rule the 125 market.

... well, in other countries anyway - i think the RS125 owns the market over here unfortunatly.

Nice Pic. I thikn i am the olny one with a new TZR in this town. Everyone else has RS125's and Mitos (appart from Tony who has n RG) I whoop the RG but have never been up against an RS or Mito.

Once raced an RS50 thinking it was a 125!! LOL

4 stokes rule!! easier to ride, dont need rebiulding as much, sound sweeter, better fuel economy and dont pollute as much.

Nuff said!

Spider

yeah alright m8 alright! but do u think there is a point in me getting a 4stroke 125 or 250 cause i dont!

Tark
03-10-2003, 08:56 AM
True. 125's have to be 2 stroke. A 4 stroke couldn't pul the skin off custard!

a 250 4 stroke trail bike might be a contender for my next bike though. Not sure? :?

Spider

The bottom line is 2 strokes rule and i got my rs 50 up to 80mph the other day down a bypass

Tark
04-11-2003, 11:10 AM
a 2 stroke wont last as long as a 4 stroke at those high revs though.

(just like to keep the debate going!)

Dan

You got your RS50 up to 80mph? Blimy - how many miles has it done?

Tark
04-11-2003, 08:13 PM

Biker Dude

Kinda ppl that give new comers like me a bad name ...

80mph ? mine does 02 model has 1000kms on it (perfectly worn in) its a derbi and if u do u research u'll find ur rs50 uses the same model engine as most mopeds do ... but with a gearbox when a derbie has a basic crosser 50cc enginge massive geard up ,sproockets etc

Mine does 60mph with a nice long flat surface and 70-75 of a massive cliff like hill (doesn't count) and can relax at 40-45

and for 50 cc i was impressed but if urs does 80mph on a flat surface with the standard enginge parts then u please come to me and show me cos thats means u will proberly be beating my m8s 03 DTR 125

lol! well im puttin a smaller back end sprocket on my TZR 250 2ma cause i rekonj it needs another gear as it redlines really easily in every gear including 6th! but seeing as i cant add another gear gonna add a smaller sprocket for more speed cause the acceleratuion is mad n e ways! so im hoping for bout 130mph or summiink he he! thenm it will probably blow! up! but dam is she a beast!¬

Tark
05-11-2003, 09:16 AM
you could add a bigger one to the front! 1 tooth on the front is the same as taking 3 off the back.

its easeir to put on and costs less!

Spider

ill take that under considiration! i gotta get a new tyre as the old one is {EB} and it slides everywhere which hyas its advantages but not in the bloody rain! as Biker Dude found out! he went to dump the clutch to pull a wheelie and just slid out!

Pinky

130mph sounds good m8 :) just get a new back tire on there ,manholes round corners or dodgy as it is esp in the wet

Spider

n1 m8

Soon as i can i am gonna take a 1 week intensive or somthing ...

But sadly be taking a car test at the same time :(

Agreement with my dad was that i would get a 50 and thats it , i'll go back to crossers (can't afford both) but its all part of my master plan and now i've worn him down to saying as long as i use a car most of the time i can buy a bike with my own money so gonna trade my bike in for somthing relible basic and cheap like a KMX and then keep it for a year or 2 get some real rideing experiance then get a real bike :)

but been on a DT 125 and its go a bit of poke and and go easy at 60-70 and i hear KMX's are the same thing (just i found a dealer who will trader mine in for 1 )

Hard to get into bikes when no1 in my family has 1 nor likes them :?

Tark

dont do a week intensive course you wont need it. I just did my CBT and then booked my test. they tell you what you have to in the CBT if you ask nicely.

it wont take you a week to learnb how to pass it.

just look over your shoulder everytime you change direction. Look in your mirors ever now and again and just general other stuff.
