Thats a great route proberly wouldnt stray much further than that !

Personally I like getting to the A130 roundabout just off the army and navy, taking the backroads through to south wooham, down creep hedge lane (dangerous if you **** up), then down to burnham.

The actual burnham bends are a bit dodge due to the road surface and traffic, but tis a nice route.

out too braintree past great leighs race course...warm the tyres up on round abouts.....then up to maccy d's roundabout near Gerickes. go left towards bocking on bypass round braintree. then go thru high garrett, and at lights go left....then stay on that road......all the way to roundabout at haverhill. turn left at that roundabout for the bypass. then next roundabout take left, 1st exit to take road to steeple bumpsteed. folllow signs then too finchinfield and once there you can take left or right turn for braintree.....is bout 60 mile round trip....have fun....where ever ya venture....
