venue for a meet

thought you guys would be best with this i mean i no my way around essex but not well enough

basicly im organising well in advance a meet for another forum im on, for bikers from all around the uk, we did one on september 9th and it was awsome about 25 of us went we all camped in a mates garden and had a drink and good ride ect, gonna do this one for spring next year but last time we got moaned at for making so much noise, so i thought "lets camp out somewhere else" so basicly somewhere not near people who care, has anyone got any ideas for like a place like a field, accesible by bikes (for parking) where we can camp, without people moaning/calling the police/angry farmers with shotguns, preferable near this end of essex, ie from southend, basildon, billercay so its in ridding distance of burnham on crouch and bradwell

Unless you know a farmer or smallholder quite well I don't think you will have much luck.

If you fancy a site in North Essex I know a place near Braintree that might accomodate you for a fee. The roads from here through to Burnham are OK, with a mix of fast modern bypass, normal A road, then getting out onto smaller twisties, a break from the twisties as you pass through Maldon, with a suitable stop, refuel, and regroup stop at Safeway Maldon. then back into the serious twisties heading on to Burnham.

The site I am referring to has toilets, they have at least two suitable fields, it is away from houses from the disturbance aspect. They have a farm shop, for drinks and nibbles for brekkie. But they won't take kindly to you leaving the place like a tip, but may make a skip or something available for your rubbish if you point out the difficulty of carrying your rubbish home. cheers for that mate, nah if theres a fee i can ask eveyrone coming to pay £5 or something prior, And £5-10 towards drink n food, anyone off this forum will be welcome to come the more the better really ill post details when its sorted

i thought maybe camp out over two tree island in westcliff, tisnt the nicest of venues though, or someone said to me some place on mersey island, but ive never been there

Mersea is a good venue with toilets but it's expensive

hello matey...

i can provide a place for you... i attempted to hold a bbq there not so long ago... it has loo and shower facilities..... and you will def not get told off for noise.. (but it is by fishing lakes.... ) so the only rule is .. do NOT upset the fishermen!!

other than that bikers are welcome any time...

oh ... by the way, its in mayland ... on the way to burnham
