The other day my Dads best mate sadly passed away due to cancer. It was very sudden. It was only 2 weeks before when they found he was riddled with it, all in his legs everywhere. He'd been i'll for months but the Doctors couldn't find out what was wrong, and that was private, Diobolical:shooter
He owned a 1991 Ducati crd 750ss, From what I know he never wrode it he just bought it as a heap and rebuilt it. My dad says it's imaculate, not a mark on it anywhere. His wife now has to sell it and my dad has asked me if I could sell it or if not how much should it go for. I haven't a clue, never heard of a CRD. I've been searching the net but can't seem to find anything. I've never seen it myself so I don't know if it has any extra's. I was wondering if anyone has rough idea how much it would go for as standard. I'm hoping to go and see it at the weekend and to get some pics.
Cheers people:grin2

post on www.ducatisti.co.uk (http://www.ducatisti.co.uk) they are superstars on there. a couple of them have 900SS's but i think there are some 750SS owners too.

Hi

I own a 1991 750ss and paid £1500 for it two years ago. (but that was a bargain)
It really depends on the exact model,I have never heard of the CRD either.
If you can get a pic to me I can give more advice.

i think it is a reference to cagiva,
Cagiva Racing Development / division / department

not such if it actually means anything to be honest

Hi

CRD stands for Centre of Research for Ducati, it was formerly known as CRC Centre of Research for Cagiva.

With that in mind I would not say the bikes model was a CRD.

If it is a 1991 it is probabably an HF.

Hope this helps.
