cool. if there is something wrong with the engine i may well be interested... i have a spare bottom end with no top end to go on it! would be very handy if i can build/tune one entire spare engine as its quicker to swap an engine on a race day (a mate recently seized his bottom end in a race, we bought an engine, removed it from the bike it was in, removed his knackered one and refitted the replacement all in less than 2.5 hours!).
cheers

kool thats all well and good if you know what your doing lol! thats my problem im learning as i go along i.e with me dad fixing problems that arise upon mine! but not having the full knowlage is annoying me as i have so much spare time on my hands at the moment where as he has very little so when he does get around to fixing my bike i dnt learn much as it is only whenm he gets time where as if i had the knowlage i would have stripped my engine down by now and cleaned it etc! but well had trouble fitting an exhaust yesterday! think the gasket was too big even though it was an official tzr125 gasket! cause well i managed to get it in and bolted on the new alspeed exhaust and the gasket was squashed out the other end! so today i opend a DT125R gasket set used that 1 and it fitted perfectly! and all done now but still smoke coming out of the bottom end! near where the exhaust attaches to the engine! but i also think it may be coming from the powervalve pully housing as the seal we used on there was secondf hand as it was all we had at the time! and the bike isnt running properly! as ( i think to the seal in the powervavle casing) it just about hits 70 now where as when i had it on wen i went to romford i was doing 90! and now i cant hit 70 and ive got an all speed on aswell! im waiting for my dad to get some time off as he says he thinks it needs a "de-koke" or summink! i guess that means cleaning all the **** out! and waiting for mellers to send the servo because we brought a teaser from him with servo and cables just with a dead brain and only got the brain so waiting for that so i can fit it too my bike as we have a spare brain because at the moment the powervavle kit im using is from an RD350LC which is a kind of all in one unit! so not quite right for it, also got a teaser with atuned engine but i think something needs fixing with the oil pump im gonna use that engine when it is fixed because the bloke we got it from said it had no powervavle kit and it did 100mph 2 up which i knwo u were saying about the speedo being wrong but that is still fast 2 up! with no kit and bog standed exhaust! so waiting to add that, the all speed and a fresh working ypvs! to the rear disc brake model frame of a TZR125! with some new white fairing just after 1 side panel (white) for the side without the petrol tap! and then paint my single seat unit and then i will have i would say the best teaser 125 around! got all the bits to do that just my dad doesnt have the time which is annoying but one funny thing is that my dad likes to beat other peeps times so ill tell him u changed and engine at the track in under 2.5 hours and we will see if he can beat that!
but if you know of any way i could fix my problem with the smoke blowing out the wrong end help would be appreciated!

which gaskets did you use??? it should have one thick copper crush gasket and one asbestos paper gasket. throw the asbestos paper gasket away. go to halfords and get some heat resistant sealant. attach thick copper gasket into exhaust port on engine (a little sealant will help hold it in place) and smear the sealant onto the exhaust header around the bit that goes inside the port. also put a layer on the flange that bolts to the head.
let it set for about 15minutes else it gets everywhere.
fit exhaust and bolt the flange up.
leave for another 10 minutes. perfect seal on the exhaust.
CSR305
Do you mean 350?
I have:
1 TY175, 1 TZr125, 1 GSF600 Bandit and 1 CBR600

and no not a 350 its a 305 so i guess 300cc !
Wasn't trying to make you out as a tw*t.
It was a serious question. A 350 is more common than a 305 so I wondered if it was a typing error or there was such a thing.
Now I know! 8)
