Yep.. got the cg125 back from Chadwell Motorcycles today...:clap

All fixed, amazingly it seems sonofabiker hadnt destroyed the undestroyable cg125.. needed a new piston, some oil n petrol.. and other odd jobs like tires n brakes..

The damage: about 300 quid.

My dad rode it back, run out of petrol in main tank and rode it back on the reserve.. but it runs fine. :grin2

Got to wait till my paycheck at the end of the month.. sorted out my last one with work.. turns out we work two weeks in hand although i wasnt informed of this... but nevertheless.. should be getting paid in FULL on the 27th.. and then hopefully sort out insurance (paying monthly as easier for me) and getting my dad to teach us the controls in a carpark.. before taking to the road .. Better to be safe then sorry really:grin1 !

Mite give it a little bit of a clean.. been sitting in my garden in all weathers.. so rusty in places, a job for some cillit bang i think ! :laugh1

The paintworks alright suprisingly..might give it a shine though on the metal and that, im getting sonofabiker to send off the logbook to change the names over.. and changing my address on my license at the same time.. (Still reads Tilbury) so i should be back on the road before christmas, which isn't the greatest time of year to be out on bikes.. particularly now its getting colder and icier., but im only commuting short distances.

So theres the latest from me..

Oh and offtopic :offtopic: Does anyone else have a temperamental internet where essexbikers will only show up at times??
Im on telewest broadband. and sometimes it wont display essexbikers.. i dont know why, anybody able to shed some light?
