The bikes been running a bit rich the last couple of weeks and i think this could be the cause of the problems I've had with it this summer, IE: new engine manifold cured it for about a fortnight and then ran ****e again.

I recon a good service and re- jetting will sort it out, So anybody got any recommendation in this area, bike world is a big no.

Somebody who will knock a bit of cash off as I'm having the service and re-jetting together, I'm thinking Red-line by Mr DJ on the a127 i think its airborne ind est?

Any recommendations?

Hi DJ - Mick and I have done business with Graham at Redline a quite a lot - me for small things like tyre fitting etc and Mick bought his gixxer from them, then swapped it in for his first Mille. Graham would do a deal on sales, but don't hope for much of a discount on service/jetting costs... he also recently lost quite a good mechanic from his workshop. Graham's a nice bloke, but out to make money, not too many favours.

We use Jason, who is behind Justbikes on the A13 (behind Julian Soper Motorcycles). He's a nice bloke and will charge a reasonable rate for the work. I believe Doodle has used him recently too and I tend to always use him for MOTs and bits and bobs. You have to put the pressure on though as he tends to 'put things off' a little bit :D

His number is 01702 710123 - you can mention Mick & Juliet recommended him (not saying that will get you a discount, but it'll help you perhaps get in the book quicker). Ask him to quote for the work - should be quite reasonable. He's a nice bloke :)

He's trying to not take on too much work at the moment from walk ins, so make sure you mention Mick 'n' Jules or me and he may find space for you.

Failing that drop MickTLS a PM

Thanks all, I can get my service done cheaper through my usual place as i'v had a it of work done with them this year so the service has more or less been started, plus i've had to wait for a few bits from them.

I just thought it might work out cheaper if the service and jets were done at the same time.

Thanks again all :grin2
