what size jet is in it now???

i would suggest going to a pretty big size to begin with, then use 'plug chop' to gauge the richness of the mix and bring the jet size down as necessary.

google search plug chop

i went to a shop local to me and asked about jets and if a bigger jet would do anything and he told me they probly wont do much but they would have to put it on a dyno to find out... would they have to do that just to find out what jet to put in?

If you run a 2smoke too lean it will appear to run well and be quick but you risk siezing it, to prevent siezing you need to run it as rich as possible without upsetting the running, fowling plugs etc ......is that right Trouty?
